Creating a slumber-filled experience for your guests

Luxury Liddell pillow with label

Choosing the right pillows can be paramount to your guests getting a good nights sleep and leaving you feeling as relaxed as possible. Here at Liddell we understand it can be difficult to know where to start when thinking about which pillows would be best for in your hotel. With an array of choice ranging from natural to blended fibre and Hollowfibre fillings its little wonder people can get confused. What’s important to keep in mind is that not all guests are the same and not everyone has the same needs. In an ideal world a hotel would provide a choice for guests – if you have natural pillows you may offer a variety of soft or firm fillings and then a Hollowfibre option too for those who suffer with allergies.

You also want to keep in mind pillows need replacing at a quicker rate than duvets. As we lie directly on a pillow it becomes flattened over time. The average lifespan of a pillow can range anywhere between 2 years and 4. By ensuring your pillows are kept up to date you’ll be well on your way to keeping your guests comfortable and happy. New pillows support the head and neck well, leading to a soft slumber for guests. If you’re unsure about whether your hotel pillows need replacing you can check for discolouration of the pillow and even get feedback from guests about how they slept on the pillows.
