Exclusive Competition Launched Just for Housekeepers

liddell blog size

Founded on the banks of the River Lagan in Donaghcloney, Ireland, 1866, we are proud to reach our 150th year, now we want to ask housekeepers what makes them proud in their establishments.

Our #LiddellProudMoment competition is a unique competition just for housekeepers as we seek to find out what inspires the people who use our luxury hotel linen day in, day out.

All housekeepers have to do is send us a photo of what has made them proud each month – this could range from a celebrity visit in their establishment to simply showcasing a great job they have carried out as part of their daily tasks.

Our five judges will choose a winner each month to win a bottle of champagne, once the competition closes in July, there will be an overall prize announced of a luxury spa break for two – all entries will be counted.

Happy Birthday to Us

Over the last year, we’ve undertaken a huge research project as we look back through the last 15 decades; we’ve worked with a world renowned historian and visited public record offices to recreate the Liddell story.

Here’s what you can expect as we celebrate 150 years of textile manufacturing success:

  • Our exclusive story book will give you insight into how we kept Liddell alive, from early life in the mills to surviving two major world wars
  • Our housekeepers competition will give housekeepers a chance to win some great prizes, whilst showcasing their proudest moments
  • We will launch a secret linen range – we’re gearing up to launch a commemorative linen range as part of our 150th anniversary, can you guess what it will be?
  • An exclusive celebration event which will transport attendees back in time ,complete with a lavish five course meal and champagne

We can’t wait for you to celebrate such a huge milestone with us.

UPDATE: This competition has now closed. Find out who won the competition here.
