Liddell make a splash – sponsors of the Red Bull cliff diving World Series

Red Bull cliff diving

For the second year running, Liddell have sponsored the Red Bull cliff diving World Series event. This year we provided luxury hotel quality bathrobes and towels for all participants to use throughout the Irish leg of the competition. This year’s Irish leg of the World Series took place on Inis Mór, the largest of the three Aran islands  on 29th June and saw divers dangerously competing against each other into the Serpent’s Lair – a near-perfect rectangular natural formation that fisherman call a blowhole.

The competition begins in Cuba and has seven stops around the world, eventually ending in Brazil with the crème de la crème of divers competing against each other to be reigned champions. It’s little wonder we at Liddell wanted to be involved in such an exciting and exclusive event!

Marc Wynne, European Sales Director at Liddell commented “At Liddell we’re delighted to continue our association with the Red Bull Cliff diving World Series by providing the world’s best cliff divers with our luxurious bathrobes and towels for the event.  Liddell provides the finest luxury linens to the world’s most exclusive hotels, restaurants and spas and so we had no hesitation when the organisers of the event contacted us for our support in showcasing our brand alongside Red Bull.

This unique event not only showcases the ruggedness and beauty of the west of Ireland, it also demonstrates the global growth of this sport. Here at Liddell we are proud that each participant, from 10 different countries across the world used our branded bathrobes and towels at the World Series event in Ireland.”
