Liddell sponsor the Hilton Foundation Ball
Liddell were delighted to continue their association with the Hilton Foundation Ball that took place in the Hilton, Park Lane London on Saturday 22nd November 2014. Last year the event raised almost half a million pounds for the charities associated with the Hilton foundation. Each year Hilton gather all their partners and customers at the annual event giving them the the opportunity to bid in auction format for high profile excursions to some of Hilton’s most prestigious resorts worldwide. Liddell sponsors the table linen for the ball every year and last year demonstrated further support by sponsoring a guide dog as part of the campaign to support the blind. Jimmy McCullough and Marc Wynne from Liddell, Laurie Thomas from Vision Support Services, David Bryan from the Hilton Group Purchasing Ireland and David McAuley, Purchasing Manager for the Langham, London attended this year’s event.
Simon Sheehan, Director of Hilton in the Community Foundation commented: ‘Thank you for all your hard work in making the 2014 Foundation Ball such a wonderful success. The beautiful linens helped to transform the ball room into the glamorous Vegas showroom that we were hoping for. Thank you for the time ad effort you put into achieving this and for all your support.’ Early indications suggest the evening has raised more than £400,000 for disadvantaged young people.
